Growing Thai tradition in the heart of Texas

Meet Mamur "Daeng Noy"

Texas Thai Food was born from the passion and dedication of Mamur, affectionately known as "Daeng Noy," a Thai woman who brought her deep love of gardening and authentic Thai cooking to Farmersville, Texas. What started as a modest backyard plot has blossomed into a thriving garden that now serves as the foundation for everything we share.

"I wanted to prove that the flavors I grew up with in Thailand could thrive right here in Texas soil. After 30 years, the garden speaks for itself."

With over 30 years of hands-on gardening wisdom and more than 200 Thai plant varieties cultivated in the Texas climate, Daeng Noy has become a trusted authority on growing authentic Thai ingredients far from their native land. Every recipe, every guide, and every seed we offer carries her decades of knowledge and unwavering commitment to authenticity.

Our Home

The Garden in Farmersville

Nestled in the rich blackland prairie of Farmersville, Texas, our garden has become a living showcase of what is possible when Thai horticultural traditions meet Texas growing conditions. The warm summers, generous sunlight, and careful soil preparation create an environment where Thai herbs and vegetables flourish.

From fragrant holy basil and lemongrass to fiery bird's eye chilies and tender Thai eggplant, every corner of the garden tells a story of adaptation and perseverance. Visitors are always surprised to find such an authentic collection of Thai plants thriving so far from Southeast Asia.
